This is the most delicious scone recipe you will ever make. The scones are light, fluffy, cheezy with a delicious hint of onion and thyme. Mouthwatering scones in under 30 minutes.
First thing you do is add vinegar to the 1/2 cup milk and leave to stand for 5 minutes
Next Make sure your oven is preheating to 200 C
Add your flour, baking powder, salt, to a bowl. Give it a good whisk to ensure baking powder is fully incorporated into the flower
Add in your cheese and chopped spring onions.
Once your milk has curdled pop it into the mix. Add in the olive and stir until your dough starts clumping together.
Give your dough a liight kneading and shape it into a round.
Cut into 8 wedges, then place on a baking tray. Brush some almond milk or any other plant milk over the top.
Pop into a hot oven for about 20 to 25 minutesminutes.
Ensure the baking powder is well incorporated into your flour. I like to give mine a whisk. Then pop in cheese and onion and give it another stir.
Add the curdled milk and olive oil the rest of the ingredients and mix it up well.
Knead for a couple of minutes, then shape the dough into a round.
Divide into 8 wedges, brush some plant milk over the tops, then pop on a lined oven tray. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes on 200 C.
Cheeze and onion goodness. This makes a tasty snack and is lovely dipped in some vegetable soup.
